I've never been happier that Steven is the relentless pest that he can be; I never would have forgiven myself if we missed out on this one!! What a party!
Most everyone was half in the bag be the time we got there due to the open vodka bar. Hilarious watching Wai standing by Andy Moor admiringly during his set. I had a blast bopping around with the girls. So nice to see all ya'll.
The sound in the main room was making my ears pop, so after Andy, I never really made it back in there.
Big Mike, I really enjoyed your set. Next time I hope we get to actually meet!Mike Core never disappoints.Loved it! It was great to hear Hai Lee again, as usual, he was flawless. I loved Marcellos set as well. Jay closed out to a very happy crowd who couldn't have been more pleased to hear him play! Nice one Core. Those kind of moments are rare.
Funny moments: Looking out on the dance floor during Hai Lee's set just in time to see Dan and Steven wipe out. Bodies everywhere! I bet neither one can tell me what happened!
Me looking at the Grey Goose Vodka promo tea light on the bar...telling Tae it would look nice on my bar... and it ending up in my purse.
Spending ages remembering the Cape with Dan. At one point we both just shouted GO CARTS!!!

Ahhh a night to remember for the rest of my live. It was truly awesome listening to everybody. It was an orgasm for my ears all night long. I was dead tired after 3 am so i didnt catch the closing. There was so much energy everywhere and everybody was killing it. Frequency Mike, Zack Roth, Big Mike, Andy Moor, DJ Eco, Hai Lee Chen....everybody was ing killing it. I caught a lil bit of CL but i went back and just chilled and listened to Eco.
It was fun seeing everybody like always. I really enjoy going clubbing by myself to meet all of you over there. Everybody was having fun all night long. It was fun chilling with Andy Moor. Hah, im the one that gave him a ride back to his Hotel. Hes a chill guy and just talks about anything with a lot of passion. Very humble guy. Took a lil bit to get to the hotel cause alot of the streets were closed for some reason. I was at a light and Andy jumps outta the car running and screaming that he's gotta piss by some wall. Good times.
It was perfect night, i just wish that i couldve stayed longer.

Really fun, solid night... great hanging out with everyone!
Christopher Lawrence tore it up. I also heard Big Mike's, DJ Eco's, Hai Lee's, and Jay's sets... all were very different and great in their own ways. SO MUCH FUN! When there are dozens of TAs milling around and all getting smashed you know it's gonna be a great night!!

So many TAs!!! it felt like i was at 1015 in SF! was great meeting steven-neil (you so remind me of my friend kirk! haha), big mike (sorry i missed your set again), drew (i met you before i think but didnt know you were on TA), mamii and euphoria along with seeing everyone else! :D
its only my 3rd time in NYC so I'm still doing a lot of walking and tourist stuff all day and was tired when i got to rebels. couldnt drink either because i did not want to get so faded that ill miss my flight.
every set i heard in the main room & gallery were fun! zack roth opened beautifully for andy moor. once moor got on it made it hard for me to leave to catch b&j at webster hall but im glad i went to b&j too as i had a good time there and its nice checking out new venues although i did prefer rebels a lot more. got back to catch the last45mins of CL who was dropping bangers! :eyes: forgot who played before Jay but the last few tracks were great! Jay had some trouble early on w/ the equipment but once that was straighten out it was constant classic bombs! For an Angel 
its unfortunate that rebels will now be all hip hop :whip: really like the club and didnt it just open this past july/august? i remember after PvD the after party there was a lot of TAs first time there. at least ill get to check out new venues next time :happy2: |

I had a fantastic time!!! I loved Christopher Lawrence, he not only banged the out of the place but he was very nice unlike Andy Moor who seemed grouchy as all hell and didn't look like he wanted to even be there. Some others definitely agreed with my impression of him but perhaps I was wrong. Anyway, the music was great! The locals were ridiculous:eyespop:. Like everyone said it was so difficult picking which room to stay in. Hai Lee and Jay play tracks that I really want to hear and Zach, Frank, Marcello and Mike surprise me with great tracks I have yet to hear.
Steven and Shiela you guys were hilarious, I'm glad to have supplied some type of entertainment for you ;). I went out of control trying to stay away and after all those free drinks I was exhausted as all hell. I got home and slept for ~14hours; I lost the entire day but it was so worth it. Great seeing everyone, there were so many TAs it was awesome.
Alisa it was great finally meeting you.

It's a real shame. I think the place has a lot of potential. It was very comfortable and hassle free.

| first and foremost a BIG special thanks to CORE for giving me the opportunity to spin. It was a pleasure playing for all those who stuck it out till the end it really means a lot to me. i haven't had that much fun in a long time. i didn t have a chance to catch everyones set to the fullest but between the locals i think hai lee got me. i never heard lawrence spin before an was loving what he was playing and the next time he comes back into town i will def be there for that. great seeing everyone out and in a sloppy mess of fun :tongue2 till the next time i see you lovely ppl, oh wait thats next week :wtf: well then nevermind round 2 next wk at tyas :crazy: |
