this was observed snow as of 7am....so some could have melted today |

that image is also partially satellite derived as well....so it could have been picking up some cirrus blowoff or something.
also, the small section in southern new mexico that is shaded blue is actually White Sands Missile Range. on a visibile satellite image, it looks like a static cloud. |
