| aside from sasha digweed n corsten, anyone excited to see Lee Coombs? No one has mentioned his name even in anticipation for this event. I am a fan of the breakbreat/electro house sets put out by Hybrid, Elite Force, K-Swing, and Lee Coombs and am thinking it'll be a pumpin 90 min before sasha n digweed take stage. |

| those sf parties are weak in comparison to this lineup.... |

| That is very subjective. Those San Francisco parties have the leading edge breakbeat, dubstep, grime, and mashup artists along with progressive live acts on their lineup. TAO has the same old, blue chip we've all seen them a million times doing the same gig mainstays of mainstream EDM. You decide. |

Just to make sure everyone's aware of all the "" parties in San Francisco this year:

Plus don't forget:
-Christopher Lawrence and DJ Dan at 1015
-Kraft Kuts at Mighty
-The Crystal Method at Ruby Skye
No ing decent choices at all. |

| I'm gonna be out in Vegas for NYE, still trying to see what EDM events are going down over there for all the Vegas partiers this year! If you have suggestions, you can post them in the "Vegas NYE" thread over at: http://www.tranceaddict.com/forums/...threadid=442825 |

| I'm not a promoter or related to the promoters in any way unlike your self, I was just responding to the (in my mind) false assertion that there were nothing but ty parties in San Francisco. Hopefuly I gave a heads up about some that people were unaware of. |

The only decent choices are ALL breaks, and Bassnectar (whatever the he is, he's amazing). If you don't like breaks, you're out of luck.
I'm surprised with all the great stuff that happened in SF this year, nobody managed to snag a high-profile Techno DJ for new year's. |

Christopher Lawrence spins breaks?
DJ Dan spins breaks?
Z-Trip spins breaks?
Skream spins breaks?
Missill spins breaks?
Pharrell spins breaks?
The Crystal Method spins breaks?
P.S. Bassnectar DOES spins breaks.
Oh and I forgot about the Sea of Dreams party, you can go check out the Brazillian Girls, Kinky, Adam Freeland, the Bassbin Twins, and Syd Gris with a host of smaller acts.
And where are the non-trance/house parties in LA? Space Island is the only place I know where we can get some breaks. |

I said the only *decent* parties, not the only parties. I guess dubstep counts too, though I mentally tend to lump it in with breaks (it's just breaks with different sounding basslines, not a new genre in my mind). The parties with local talent have potential, but I'll probably see a nearly-identical lineup on a 1015 flyer before February ends.
Sure, Christopher Lawrence, DJ Dan, TCM don't play breaks but they're also BAD. And it's not just a question of not liking the genre, I've seen all of them live and none of them were any good.
And there is NO TECHNO. |

| Well you failed to respond to my comment about breaks, dubstep, mashup, or big beat parties in LA. You're living in the wrong city bud. |
