Why? I think it sounds good, although I can't say I really know the style of muzik but I think I do. I'm all for something different. Enough of the same BS.

ING DOUCHE ALERT!

No wonder these s left TO, there obviously aren't quite enough sheep here to buy into their bull.

NO WAIT, HE'S TALKING ABOUT DETROIT AND CHICAGO NOW, THAT GIVES THEM MORE CREDIBILITY!

I take it all back. Someone start the "BRING MSTRKRFT BACK TO T.O." club.

Big Boss
Never really cared for these guys anyway...I wonder why they are so big when we have better talent in this city...

These guys remind me of ad execs sitting around in an office somewhere, coming up with some ridiculous product and then convincing mass amounts of people that they need it.

Somewhere, a lot of people are laughing.

I'm all for innovation as well, but i'd hate to see TO go through another gay electro fad

it's time to move on to better things

It's all a big conspiracy!

all they are saying in the article that is for their particular genre of tweeky tech/electro, they'd probably be better suited elsewhere...somewhere where the markets for their sound are bigger....makes clear sense to me. even though they have a huge following of people here.

they've branded themselves very well and i respect them for that.

ps- they are actaully very cool dudes.

edit - i just watched the video..HOLY.

i think there career is already at the point where a change of address isn't really going to make a difference. They're already BIG.

I've met Jesse a couple of times. Seems like a nice down to earth cat to me.

I could be wrong, but I think they're being misunderstood a bit here. In Europe right now, that noisey, electro-y kind of sound is HUGE. Boyz Noise are very popular, and MSTRKRFT is following right behind them in popularity. When I was at I Love Techno, almost every person I asked who played the best set was Boyz Noise.

In Toronto, this sound isn't very big at all (at least not yet).

Really? I thought there was a whole separate scene for these guys - the whole queen west hipster douchebag quasi-I love neon wannabe types.
