i dont hate my roomies but one is very immature. he isnt responsible enough and hes very nonchalant about regular issues (like rent when its coming up and he doesnt have enough money) that are more important to me. and then them being friends makes it harder cause you cant be a total dick to them cause they are in your circle. sucks really.
try to live with people you dont know. seems to generally work out better. its easier to put up a fight and not appear to be trying to anyone over. |

My roommate is ok but the apartment sucks. It's a railroad apartment, so the only way to get to his room is to walk through my room. There is another entrance through the apartment hallway, and he got a lock for his door, but that was a source of confrontation there because he didn't want to have to walk through the hallway, and I wanted my privacy.
And the college era stolen bar signs need to go. And the parking situation needs to improve.
I'm looking to get myself another apartment, probably in manhattan this time. The only reason I like queens is its close proximity to manhattan. Other than that, I don't care much for queens. So... I suppose it follows suit I should move to manhattan? |
