Winterizing your house?

Anyone have any good tips? I'm currently in the middle of putting the plastic film up over all the windows, and I got a nail in gasket for our back door - but does anyone have any tips for other ways to save energy/conserve heat?

Or, even better, any advice for me as I begin putting up this plastic film stuff? Tips for how to best get it to work/go easily?

Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated. :)

if you got the kind of window-film that requires a hairdryer to seal it up, my hairdryer is in the top part of my closet where my jeans are. you probably already know that though.

have fun. and thanks for taking care of that today! :D

Oh dude - no problem. I feel totally rejuvenated now that finals are over! :D

The only thing that sucks is apparently the kind I got you need to let the tape set up for 15 to 20 minutes before you apply the film, but I don't want to try more than one window at a time - so I'm kind of just waiting right now to see if I can do one pretty easily, then I'll just go around the house and do all the taping, sit down, smoke a bowl, then go back and do all the film. :)

Only thing that sucks is the shovel selection was pants and they had no salt :wtf: :(
