| If a girl with a cold sore gave you a blowjob you'd get herpes. Picking at your cold sore and touching your penis is no different. So probably, yes. Although it would be a different simplex of herpes, you'd still have that nasty nasty sore on your wang. Way to go dickcheese. |

yeah, as someone said - u can get either strand of the virus in both places.
Although i did read somewhere last night that if you've been exposed to HSV - 1 (the common coldsore) that you're much less likely to get it in ur genital area.
yes @mber, i di have herpes :) .. IN MY LIP!!!! and nowhere else.. that i'm currently aware of :) ..lets just hope it stays that way :) |

| It may be an urban myth, but I was of the understanding that some people were just immune to cold sores? That they can carry the virus, but still not get it themselves? |

Theresa is absolutely 100% correct here. Long story short, I found this out the hard way by being completely ignorant because I was simply uninformed. Myself and my partner paid the price. Thankfully Valtrex makes life a little easier. |
