Played this live yesterday afternoon and enjoyed it a bit so I thought I'd share the recording. Spun on 2 CDJ's, a Xone 62, EFX 500, and PVDJ looper/grabber.
Note: I had an issue with my recorder in the middle of "Azure" - so I basically just edited the set into two parts. It's still one file, but there's an outro around an hour in, and then it heads right into the second MJ tune.
Enjoy - as always, love to hear your comments/criticisms/thoughts/etc.

| How the did you get Jinzou? It was on Beatport for a few hours last month (by accident, it would seem) and I tried to purchase it, only to get an error. Then it was gone. |

| This will be something good to listen to after I spend fruitless hours in Logic tearing my hair out at my inability to create music. |

| just one thing dude, why would you label this a live set. I mean its no different than when anyone else records from home (unless its that gay lay em out and piece the puzzle style.) Other than that its good. Just curious. |

1 shot through, no mastering = live set.
I've been over this a lot of times before. |

Rolf - fair play, but it does sound a fair bit better than the "Skip-skip-crrarrrrash" noise that was in it's place :p
...
And just to be clear - I didn't mean to sound defensive or anything, I just thought this had been done before (I thought you and I had even discussed it :wtf: ), but either way - when I do a promo, I do everything I can to get it right, I want the mixes a certain way and the amount of effort that goes into them is a lot higher than into something like this, and I guess I just think the distinction should be made so people listen in context.
But maybe that's gay. Who knows?
Someone... probably. |
