y'know as a girl I figure you might all be interested in my view on things here and I have no shame, so here we go:
I of course get very embarrassed when my boyfriend makes remarks about "aroma" as you all seem to like referring to it. However it's not him saying it's bad, it's him saying how much he loves it, etc etc. Not that I mind him saying how much something turns him, but it does embarrass me in a cute little naked girlfriend sort of way ;)
As a girl, guys have a smell too whether or not you want to admit it and sure sweaty gross guy smell is, well, gross, but it can be a turn on too, a big one.
If you want to go at it from a scientific point of view, those smells are phermones and they're designed to turn the other person on. I think the older a guy gets (same with girls) the most comfortable they become with all that and the more those aromas turn them on...
