I dunno but fiori doesn't get my vote, just cuz its such a god damn long song no way you could spin it it times. |

no, not BECAUSE it's spun on ASOT. It would be pretty silly not liking a track just because it's spun on a certain radioshow. ASOT just stands for a certain type of trance (lots of commercial vocal pop trance) which I don't like. Thought it was pretty obvious I meant it this way ... apparently not for everyone :rolleyes:
and off course you don't need to take the 'any' in my response THAT litteraly. When Armin plays 20 tracks a week, 50 weeks a year, there will off course be some tracks I like, most of which I probably got to know through other dj's and shows. That's why I stopped listening to ASOT. Most of the time I just heard a handfull of tracks a show that I would consider as bearable and OK, and If Armin really played an amazing track, I already heard it before. The last ASOT's I listened I couldn't even finish them because the weren't remotely interesting. Finally I stopped listening to asot completely. Maybe I missed some good tracks because of it, but I don't regret it as I listen to other shows and music which I perceive as more qualitative (by my own standards). |

i tried it in 04 or 05. i think 04. I was shot down by asot kiddies. What i did then was go through nominated tunes, took half of the asot style ones (those with most votes) and then added techno, tech-trance, house, breaks & other trance, but they cried like mad. It was worth a try, and worthwhile also because the master cried lots cos he wants to badly make the toty thing himself but has never been asked |
