| I am a napster/mp3 lover but I get my stuff mainly from websites and people email me them cause I have hookups. Other than that without me on napster over 200 people who download off of me per hour!!who knows (I just clear finish) probably would be very sad!!--With a T1 modem I share 24/7 because I don't take advantage of my modem as others do. 56ks I will let off the hook but everyone with cable and better share your !! |

If you use all the progs correctly they are all good plus they are free:) and we all like free don't we... i never ing complain about erm...better things to worry about hehe! My advice with napster or and other prog is use late at nite if ya in the uk... i get the best results, its faster and far more reliable... late meaning 10pm till the early hours of the morning. Anyways i would all the tools you have available for getting mp3z not just one coz your use to it...nuff said:)

Damn, I would so love to share my mp3 collection! But my f*n cable isp caps & monitors uploads specifically to stop that! :mad: Arrggghh
My comp is on pretty much all the time too, just sitting there connected but doing nothing...think how many happy people there could be d/l'ing great music!

I aint patient enough to attempt to download a song than the person I am downloadin' it from disconnect from the line and ya got 2 start all over again...
that really suck he he he : (
wha the hell could they set it up so ya could later continue where ya left off...
and ya know half the people lie about their connection so ya won't attemp to download from them...

I am on cable and share a lot of files on napster
at least 100
i know thats not a lot to many of u but i back up my HD to CD once a week cos at the end of the week that 100 shared files is more like 800 lol
so to ease my poor hard drive i back up to CD then start over with 100 files
they are constantly changeing so when ppl add me to their hotlists each time they check they got something new to DL
and when i search for tracks i tend to look for those ppl that say they are on 14.4 or 33.3 cos u know they are Bull S***ing lol
and usually have a pretty good connection
i cancel anyone and i mean anyone that has no files shared
i always check the user info for ppl that DL from me
a 56k user i will boot if they share less than 25 files
simple reason being is why the hell should we share our files ( some of which takes a lot of searching and canceled DLs to get hold off ) with some idiot thats so selfish as to share none
surely thats what it's all about yeah shareing of real cool trance tunes :)
by the way when napster dies i will be on audio gnome and kazza, kazza is great very much like napster, same sort of interface plsu u can get movies and apps with kazza too, a bit like u could when Scour was up and running
and who ever said FTP was get a life ! its simply cos u dont know how to use it dude, ftp is great ! i have got a lot of great and rare tracks from ftp and if u are decent enuff to upload decent tracks to those ftp servers many of them will give u a leech account
FTP was how i first got MP3's and with the way the RIAA are trying to close down places like napster FTP may once again be one of the only ways u will get some of the great trance MP3's about

| check out filenavigator, works to where you can search all the napster servers for a song, and a lot of other advantages |
