| honestly, beyond Howells and Vath, i can't even decide. there were a lot of nights that i had a load of fun even though they weren't the "top" nights musically (Sasha @ Wetbar comes to mind)... and there were nights that were just ty nights even though the music was insanely good (Luke Fair @ Vision - i was just too sick to enjoy myself even though his set was giving me multiple orgasms). too many elements come into my mind when i try to qualify the most memorable nights. |

Honestly the majority of shows I went to this year were crap. Most of the better sets I heard came from DEMF. Other then that nothing really struck a cord with me. I didn't go out this year as much as years past but still managed to attend a decent amount of shows.
Regardless the people that came into town the last year while I was still in Detroit didn't do anything for me. It’s been a while since I was actually excited to go out and hear someone. The people on my wish list need to come to town soon. Holden just needs to start playing here every 6 months or something.
