Ok, this party needs its own thread, tho I'm not sure if we'll get many replies...

GREAT sets from everyone, especially Armin. Loved the end of Judge Jules' set. 1st time hearing Sander, Richard Durand & Mallorca Lee- they did not disappoint! Lady Dana was a bit too hard at the end, and you could see the fights breaking out down below, so it was a sign to leave. There were quite a few songs repeated thruout the night, it was comical.

Was not enjoying the crowd at all for the first few hours, as I'm nearly twice the age of the majority of the people there, and the 1st thing we saw when we walked in was a kid unconcious on the floor in front of the entrance being worked on by paramedics, and it was just 7pm (more would follow). Was on Marco V's guestlist for the event, and after his set we retreated to the balcony VIP area, where things took a turn for the better, and I enjoyed myself much more up there. Met some great folks up there, and had some laughs over the state of some people... But, like I said, the sets were amazing and saved the night. The Wizard was cool too, good job on the lights/ decor.

took loads of videos, trying to get them loaded.

I wasn't at it to be honest but by going by the comments on http://www.****************.net most people seem to think that its not great to play hardstyle at the end but are in agreement that its better to have the hardstyle at the end (if its going to be played) rather than play it in the middle of the night and a trance DJ at the end of the night.

i'd rather not have the hardstyle at all.

Really its the dreadful excuse for the crowd that makes me avoid clubbing in Ireland. Its dreadful. An excuse for underage kiddies to get ed on drugs.

I will definitely think twice about going to an event with a high concentration of kids while I'm here. I really felt old...

What I dont get tho is the effect of E on people from the UK vs. N. America. You would never see one of those 'gurn' faces EVER over there, not to mention other severe physical reactions which are so common here. Do these kids know how BAD they look? Seriously, some of them looked like mongoloids having epileptic seizures, falling all over the place, grabbing at imaginary things in the air. It was gross. I would be mortified if I even looked like that for a single minute in private, let alone in public.

Difference is probably the quality of pills or whats mixed in with the pills.. i'd say the E's over here are mixed with all sorts of dirt.

I dunno, I'm convinced its something in the UK genetic makeup. ;)

hey guys,

Im here from Canada and I have seen some pretty unreal shows over the years, but this I'd say was the best(performance wisE). The one thing I woulda changed would be maybe to put Mallorca Lee in Marco V's place and yeah the hardstyle at the end wasn't the best thing(but then again I wouldn't want it in the middle). Another thing was the crowd. Really young, kinda trashy, but at the same time it seems like the dj's like coming here, and to be honest Im in it for the music more than anything else so Ill be there every time. Great party over all, loved the intro for Armin and loved the set even more! Well worth the money!!

BTW I would love to see those videos if you can get them up!!

Yeah I was at the Winter Party too, and all I can say is wow. It was a great night of music. I thought Dana was great at the end, obviously you might only like her if you like hardstyle but I'm not even that big a fan of hardstyle and it was still a great set. Mallorca Lee played an awesome, but kind of short set. He really got the crowd going with Operation Blade. Armin wasn't the best, but he still played great. Some really good tunes in there. The crowd seemed to love Richard Durand, personally not a huge fan but I still realy enjoyed him. Marco V gave another consistent performance. I didnt see much of Judge Jules but apparently he was good too. Sander played a really good mix, I was loving him on stage. He opened with Riff, and the place went crazy! Resident DJ Mog was superb right from the off, and played one of my fave tracks of the night, The Anthem. I also heard By The Way by RHCP, and Beautiful Day by U2 being played by more than one artist.

On to the crowd. The scene here in N. Ireland is very different compared to North America. The majority of fans who go to these events are not looked upon highly by the public, but most of the people their were really friendly to me, and only there to enjoy the night and music. I wasn't even in VIP and everyone I spoke to was great fun. There only has to be a few people there who don't care about anything else other than the drugs and starting fights, and it ruins the reputation of everyone who goes. You just have to try and avoid them.

All in all it was a great night of music. The best night I have had in a long time.

Heres some pics I took:

Marco V

Sander Van Doorn

Armin God Buuren!

Mallorca Lee

Blurry Lady Dana. :)

Looking at those pics, you can see where all the late 1990s candy ravers are hanging out now. Jesus what a looking crowd.
