sound to me like the only reason you went to this was so you could have something to bitch about afterwards. |

Awww, I'm sorry you have bad taste in music (aka, u like cheesey trance), and therefore didn't have a good time since Sasha & Digweed don't play cheesey trance. Next time, make sure you go somewhere where there is a cheesey trance dj headlining. :) |

Nope, I took a girl so I could have something to bitch about afterwards. I went to the show to have a good time but instead had to deal with a bunch of stinky ass Squatters who would never be allowed into nicer venues.

I waited in line close to two hours even though I arrived early. Some bitch tried to steal something from me by claiming it was hers. After getting getting in her face for several minutes, she finally gave in and gave it back. One of my ex's was also @ the event and wanted to meet up. Gay guys trying to hit me up. I thought the lighting production was half-ass and didn't even come close to productions like MM and especially EDC. I was in the main arena the entire time... many times people floored on the ground would tap me because I'd bump into them while I danced; it was so packed that there were times I couldn't even dance. I got rear-ended, nothing bad fortunately, after the event by some young people who were obviously still rolling.
Despite all the above, I had one of the best nights of my life! Four hours of SashaDigweed followed by Corsten.. man I couldn't ask for anything more.. Yes, I came across negatives as mentioned above. But I didn't even think twice about them until now.. I was reminded of 'em after reading about all the complaints. The point is.. When it comes to anything in life, if you're focused on finding negatives, you'll find them. |

People have to remember that massives like this are gold for the 18-20 crowd since they are 18+ events.
Any fan of any major DJ living in LA can't go to any clubs they play at since they are 21+, so when massives like this occur, those that can't go to the clubs we all do yet all flood the massives.
We can get the priviledge of seeing Sasha at Vanguard a few times a year, while someone under 21 has to pray that he ends up playing one of the few massives that year to actually see him.
That's why the DnB scene is the largest in the country in LA, it's one of the only genres of music out here that plays to an 18+ audience too. |

It all depends on what phase you are at with partying. You said its your second one here (in ca). Some are over it after going to them for years and prefer something a bit smaller. I had a good time new years at TAO but I did realize that the smaller venues are more my style at the moment. It was just way too crowded for me. It seemed like a hassle to do anything; get water, go to a different area. I knew what I was getting into and Im fine with it.Probably didnt help that I was totally sober and people kept asking me if I was ok.( that kinda got on my nerves but I wasnt a dick to them about it) I guess I looked pissed off but I was just hanging out not really trying to "go nuts". I just dont party like but maybe once a year, the rest of the time is just casual. |
