The American dislike of Vegemite is usually due to improper application of said condiment.
Vegemite is like caviar - good in small amounts; you're not supposed to spread it on thickly like peanut butter, which most vegemite n00bs tend to do.
Vegemite is quintessentially Australian, because it's basically just a sneaky way to enjoy a beer with your breakfast. |
