How about this....anyone who is a drain on society, anyone over the age of 65, anyone with a life threatening disease, anyone without a job, and anyone who's last name has more the 18 letters of the alphabet in it should be killed. |

| The human population is not too high for the earth to support; therfore, population isn't the problem. Unfortunatley, the distribution of the human population is inconsistant with the distribution of resources necessary to reasonably sustain the human population, thus, I submit the problem is not the raw numbers of people but the poor distribution of people relative to resources. |

I think his solution was something liek building a wall around all the reserves and then filling them with water. |

Give them total self government over their lands (with the exception of federal or provincial infrastructure) and a one time funding allotment to go with it. Since Native bands are horrible at managing money and even worse at maintaining gainful employment it is un fait du complie that most of the bands will go bankrupt within a generation or two. Once they have gone bankrupt they will have little choice but to sell their land (the only viable source of capital they have)... then the government can buy it back from them, kick them the off and no one can cry foul or accuse them of stealing it from the dirty red skined lazy in' yahoos. TAKE THAT JOHNNY TWO FEATHERS! |

No, that was my solution to the Quebec issue... but it seems that has sorted itself out. Strange how once all the businesses got scared of the seperatists and ran screaming from the province bringing all their money with them that whole soverignty association quieted right down. Looks like Les Quebecois are finally realizing they're too in' backward to make it on their own afterall. Yet another group of bums suckling the tit of those of us that actually contribute to the country. |
