fitting that this thread appears as I'm planning to have beer on tap at my place.
If anyone finds themselves in the Seattle area, go for some Mac and Jacks African Amber. It's draft only, but available almost everywhere in the Seattle area. You can hit up the brewery and get a keg or growlers filled.
I'll have a Spaten Oktoberfest if I'm cooking up some German food. mmmm |

I'm so sick of Heineken. Stella > Heineken imo.
Heineken tasted awesome when I was in Holland...since then, everytime I crack one open in LA, I feel like I'm drinking bud select in a green bottle.
BTW Budweiser Select is quite possibly the worst beer in America. I'd rather drink keystone...out of a can...really. |

Ahhh.... fine taste indeed.... It's the ORIGINAL Budweiser, not that american piss. Budvar is sold as Czechvar here.

Very good beer. Expensive as well.
0.3 litre bottle costs 24 kn ($4) compared to standard price of 12 kn ($2) for 0.5 litres of regular beer. *
For Croatia's standard that's a huge difference.
* Those are prices in bars. When bought in stores it's a bit cheaper, although I haven't seen Duvel in stores. |
