Who wins the election? (pg. 5)

I think several scenarios are possible if Obama is a runner up/winner:

1. Like in "Head of the state" movie with Chris Rock - When all the white voters who didn't come out to vote hear that black guy is about to become a president, they show how houses empty and all the white folk are running out to their cars to drive and vote (presumably against Chris Rock).

2. Like Wyclef Jean's "If I was a president" -
If I was president,
I'd get elected on Friday, assasinated on Saturday,
and buried on Sunday.

or....

3. Passes a law ordering all chunky bitches to wear loose and baggy clothes, no camel-toe riding tights, tutus, or tight fitting jeans. BAGGY, BITCH, ALL BAGGY!*

*I'd so vote for him if that was his platform.

So you will but republican if she is nominated?

No, I will vote independent just so that the only argument idiot activists who say "you can't complain if you don't vote" are silenced and then proceed to continue to be ed off by the fact that the U.S. government will likely never be anything more than bipartisan corporate puppetry in my lifetime.

Man, let me know how that works out.

My uncle something like that in 2000...he voted for Ralph Nader and he lives in Florida :haha:

They most likely won't actually be silenced, but at the very least they'll have nothing in particular to say to me - and in the end, that's all that really matters (me not being annoyed, that is).

:)

And I really do believe that just about anyone the Republicans can run that has a legitimate chance at winning is probably less evil and/or dangerous than Hilary Clinton.

+2 for Paul.

He's the only person that sounds reasonable and knowledgeable about the things he talks about, and not like a bickering 15 year old high school slut failing at her first high school debate meet.

Democratic presidential candidate debate, or an 8th grade slumber party debate over who has the best hair? It's so hard to choose... both sides bicker with petty insults that have an almost masterful air to them.

Social Security, Inflation, Taxes, National Debt are all more important than the issues that the media loves to push.

Abortion. abortion. Let's give a about the people that are already ing here.

War on terror? Yeah ing right. The war on terror is a ing joke. "The airplane crashed into the Pentagon, look, there is the tiny engine! But the rest of the plane just disappeared into imaginary land!"

"Look bob, it's a giant fireball(woops I didn't read the teleprompter). Excuse me folks, it's an airplane. Yup, Osama Bin Laden is the devil!"

What about Kucinich? IIRC, he was excluded from several televised debates (recently) and got only something like 6 minutes total in another one.

The only Republican candidate that I would consider voting for would be Ron Paul. The others seem to end up being fear-mongering, possible police state, and/or theocracy- things that directly contradict (my vision of) America.
