i don't think it's a question of society being ready. society has been willing to accept women for whatever they want in life. it's been that way since i was born. more importantly, for you, it's been that way since you were born.

i think it's a question of just how strong and independent women want to be and at what price? only a woman can answer that.
the sooner you realize that asking men that question is utterly futile, the sooner you'll be able to be as strong and independent as you want to be.

It's just a shame, I guess. I used to enjoy having this couple over for dinner, the conversation was very good, she was HIGHLY intelligent and experienced. Now she is a bull headed, opinionated, closed minded soccer mom, driving a Chevy Suburban (the big one), listening to Dr. Laura and making gossip about other soccer moms.
...So I guess a girl only has to be smart, intil she traps...err..finds a husband and procreates. After that, who knows. |

I think when a woman has "kid making" on the brain, her "smart" doesn't stand a chance. It's the one time where men and women almost think alike...ie: MUST have sex NOW!
Any guys, who have wives and children, will understand this. When she WANTS to get pregnant, hang on boys you are in for one hell of a ride, just pull the bar down and wait till the ride comes to a complete stop, you will have the most sex in your life...
