I think Ultra pays Cox really well to keep him out of the clubs, but thats just me. He didn't play anywhere last year either. There has to be a reason...

No problem, I understand completely. So many great parties, & Lawler is a good choice. Gotta love living here. We get WMC every year, save the hotel $ and waste it on the partying :D

I'm leaning towards Space already... :wtf:

I think the
exc;usive" title ultra gives means they pay the artists not to play anywhere else. And with Cox just seems like they got him on a leash every year.

I would put money on club politics as well..

He had his party at Crobar the year before and a couple before that.

I really want to see him so I am thinking about Ultra.

U R correct 100%. When "Crobar" was still here as "Crobar," he would play Ultra (Cox tent is a fixture there) every year and then do his night at Crobar every Saturday. He clearly had a connection with Crobar. Yet Space bought them out, started running that spot last year as Cameo, and it seems that was the end for Carl Cox club gigs during WMC and even outside of WMC in Miami as well. Sucks because he brings it every time
