Hey guys,
Well I finally got the chance to hit the beach for new years after saying to myself for the past year "I should get away for the weekend" which is just what I needed and pretty much the reason why I created this mix. It's not a very long one, running time is about 45 minutes however it contains a good mixture of recent and old school trance tunes , a few of the tracks from this mix are what got me into trance back many years ago. To be honest I wasn't 100% satisfied with the mixing but I thought it was pretty good however. But I'll let you guys be the judge.

It was nice listening to the old tracks from back in the days.
The first two songs in the beginning sort of seemed out of place tho.
Instead, I would have taken them out and added a few more classic tunes towards the end. Or, mix in the first two at the end..
Anyways, good mix. I enjoyed it alot.

I thought the eldritch remix of Halcyon fit in well but after listening to it a few times I was a bit skeptical about putting emphase in, as it seems to be fairly harder as apposed to the other tracks in the mix.

Why I don't like that Halcyon remix I will never know, but the track that follows is one of my favourite trance tunes ever, so I let the disappointment pass. The flow in the first half of the set is about 50-50 though I can;t pin-point which tracks are the ones that don't fit in. Second half is beautiful. A couple of tracks that I haven't heard of, and the Orkidea tune is super as well. The only gripe I have about ending with C Sharp is that loads of sets conclude with that track for some reason, and as it came in, I invariably said 'ah, there it comes again'.. but that doesn't mean I didn't enjoy it.
Overall, a bunch of sweet tunes that I thoroughly enjoyed.

Interesting, I've always noticed a lack of C Sharp in a lot of trance sets/mixes, let alone any that conclude with it but maybe I've been looking in the wrong places :)
