After having invested so much money, it's not over yet for HD DVD.
Unless they lose Paramount. Surely paramount aren't that stupid, and I don't think the bluray disc group have any change left to buy them off as well. |

| paramount and warner bros are going blu-ray. Blu-Ray outsells HD-DVD in AU 5:1, and worldwide HD DVD has less than 40% of market share. |

warner is.
paramount hasn't done so.
not sure about your numbers, but yes they certainly would be outselling since most stores have (or up until recently) exclusive agreements with sony. and those that have dropped the exclusivity sell their hd dvd's at a 15-30% premium, dispite hd dvd being the cheaper format, and cheaper everywhere else in the world.
but atleast with HD DVDs, no region coding, so you can buy your discs from the US for a lot cheaper. and better quality than bluray.. sooooo...
Last I heard, for 2007, bluray was 1% ahead in the US. |

yes, it's the consumer format.
they even let you make a DRM'd backup copy your HD DVD. not on bluray. |
