Hm... come to think of it, in all my time growing up Muslim I can't think of a single joke or wise crack made in or around the Mosque. You at least get a funny anecdote here and there in a Christian church..

I notice that! Everytime I went to church, some pastors get that one or two moments of laughter out of the congregation.
They're just two different religions that practice differently. To a Christian, god is personable, therefore you can "laugh with Him". Allah on the other hand is impersonal, therefore you can't really relate on a human level, or laugh with Allah... |
