All 3 have been here in 2007. Sure they don't come here every month, they wait at least a few months in between. I think that's a good idea because I sure as hell wouldn't want to see these people once a month. If they came here that often I would get sick of them really fast. Just because you missed these guys in 2007 doesnt mean everyone did so may be you beleive we have a lack of talent, but I think others fail to see it the same way. |

Points well taken DOOMBOT and euphoria.
As for yankeeBaby, just because I missed some parties doesn't mean "my head was in my ass." You need to work on how you express yourself. Even though you may have had the best of intentions, your comment came across as offensive to me. Maybe I'm just too sensitive and old, or I'm out of touch with how you young people talk to each other these days. All you had to say was I missed the DJ's I mentioned. |

My question is not about "where is good music?" or "where are good dj's" nor "only top ranked dj's play good music." You people drew that conclusion on your own. All I am saying is why hasn't dj's like Tiesto, Oakenfold, or Cox been to Manhattan recently?
What I am hinting at is that there is a dearth in venues to attract "top ranked dj's" in manhattan.

Oakie played at pacha on Thanksiving with Kenneth Thomas and Sandra Collins.
Cox played at Pacha with the Tattoo Detectives and Calderone in October.
Tiesto's here pretty often, I ust dont care to follow him ;o)
Dude, january is definitely a little slow for big names, but they definitely still want to play new york...not to mention the lesser known talent has been ripping it lately, imo. |

Seriously....our locals are just as talented as the big names. I have just as much fun at the parties organized by our very own TA promoters as I would seeing my favorite DJ. |

Oh relax Ms. Sensitive. The point is that you didnt miss "some" parties, you missed ALL of them. I wasnt trying to offend you so chill.
Here, how is this: titi, the point is not what parties you have missed. If you are interested in the scene, just keep updated and get yo ass on the dancefloor. There is a TON of great talent weekly in NYC, and the big names you mention are easily EACH here 3 times a year. So now that you KNOW, you can be at ease that there is a ton of talent here and....let the party begin!! In march, I am sure will be a huge surge of top 20's....armin, ferry and PVD at the very least. |

| Haha, Tiesto14 back from the grave! Seriously, the 90's were much better. It's so hard keeping up with this new stuff, I'm too old for this. Bring me back to some old school! |
