Somewhat around 1200E if I'm correct? (virus classic desktop)

I wouldn't mind paying a 1000 Euro for such a synth as the TI snow :).

edit: I googled and found a virus rack and virus classic desktop for 900E right now here in NL. Brand new. But since those are a bit old now I guess the snow would be somewhat around a 1000 Euro?

There's a rumor that the next OS will bring a third stereo output through USB (For all TI models).

Very nice.

Will the blofeld have USB connectivity like the TI? (for VSTi integration). I've heard that the guy who programmed the TI VSTi works for Waldorf now.

On the Snow specifications page:

"USB is used for MIDI and audio transmission (adding 3 additional stereo outputs) and works at 12Mb/s."

I can't imagine they would have the SNOW /w three stereo outputs and the more expensive models at just two. 12Mb/s is only USB 1.1, so they must have refactored and optimized a lot of the code to allow for that third output.

The rack classic (re-issued Virus B) was $1000US so if this really is the most affordable Virus ever, then it's gotta be lower than that. Echosystem's guesstimate of $900 sounds more likely.

US$1000 I wouldn't mind paying. 1000 Euro on the other hand? Errr....not so much.

1/4 of the interface and half the polyphony.

pretty sure the rest is the same as the original TI.
