In my experience, if you can glowstick good on the level of "some" of the glowsticking.com crew, people constantly come up to me asking either for E (thinking the glowstick man MUST have E, but I ain't the E man), glowsticks, or my phone number. I've met so many people at all these events; never seen that kind of openness in any other scene. |

You post on gsc too? I swing by there from time to time, to check out the latest freehand vids. I use the same s/n there too. You East Coast kids got some sick ass moves, I'll tell you that.

It depends which ones you buy. There's lots of different led sticks on the market obviously. I'm mainly refering to the cheap two dollar sticks found at Wal-Mart. Since the battery and light are all on one side of the stick, the balance is way off and makes tossing and stalling a real pain in the ass. I've seen a few peeps make their own LED sticks and they've worked out a way to maintain the balance. I prefer regular sticks myself with the hooks cut. Props to your friend for being able to do knee taps. I've tried doing them here and there, but I can't control the bounce yet. Elbow taps are more my thing. |
