I think the music in the movie is better than just about anything I've heard in the past decade.

However I don't think there was any trance in it

Underworld did the first run at the sound track and then it was combined to make an 'organic' sounding sound with an orchestra.

And yes I do think it is a phenomenal movie. Seeing it on the home screen doesn't do it justice though.... the theater experience was best for this.

And according to wiki:
Music by John Murphy
Underworld

yeah it was ing awesome.

crazy how Pinbacker was handling business there.

Kinda pissed that that Serale did that , but I guess he had to. I liked him, he was sweet.

Great music too.

surely not. it was pretty cheesy and obvious, even by trance standards ;) some of it was ok, but best in a decade?

The tune To Heal off of 'Oblivion With Bells' was also featured in the movie, but not on the soundtrack.

Wow I seriously just watched this last night. I thought it was amazing. I love Danny Boyle's films. I loved the concept in Sunshine

During the shield repair sequence, I turned to my roommate and said this would be so much better on the big screen. It's unfortunate that Sunshine was in and out of the theaters so fast. I really wanted to see it.

The deleted scenes even give you a little more insight to the crew and it answers some questions that my roommate and I had.
