the only thing that gives me any hope for this is that will arnette is doing the voice of kit, the car
but i doubt one dope voice can hold together an entire series |

Hell yea, at least they got rid of that GM garbage and used a real car this time. A Viper would of worked but that other show Viper tanked, lol. |

Knight Rider was one of my favourite shows -- in it's time. It is a much different era now -- our world is much more 'high-tech' and a car with all this gadgetry doesn't seem like a big deal.
So, 4 major hurdles this has to get over:
1) Been done before
2) 'High-Tech' is no longer as impressive as it used to be
3) The younger generation today has a comparatively lower attention span / many more options besides TV for entertainment
4) 1982 TransAm still looks better imo |

A mustang is impressive? The guy looks like he could be pulling up to the senior prom in that car with the way it's riced out. You didn't see the original trans am look like that. It was a muscle car. How about they build an original car. The only thing its missing are the altezza tail lights and spinner hubcaps. That piece of crap should be driven into a brick wall and then lit on fire, and then consequently cancel the show.
It's all about marketing - the way transformers was a giant GM commercial. I didn't mind it so much because the movie itself was awesome, but enough is enough. How about you take a sweet car that actually is fast - like an 8 series (and which not many people know about) - and you hook THAT up. I've seen people pull up to ruby tuesdays in nicer cars.
And FYI a viper is a piece of crap too. Why anyone would spent $100,000 on a dodge (or $60,000 on a ford, for that matter) is beyond me. They both drive like a piece of crap, and I've driven both. |

indeed. they've recreated so much, even the chipmunks & thomas the tank engine from our young years and its ruined it all. ethnically correct trains now, no fat controller etc. it's tosh. |

| It really s me off that they're recreating this show. Leave well enough alone. Now they're going to ruin the memories I had of watching this show. |
