Welcome to the POPLIFE SESSIONS:

This 1st installment features non-other than Superstar dj/producer and Montreal's own....MAX GRAHAM.

Max Graham's sound is undefinable. Very few DJs can transition from one genre to another with a fluid sense of what the dancefloor wants, yet Max effortlessly fuses music styles such as house, progressive, and techno to create one great night of dance music. His trademark pumping, energetic basslines and tough, yet uplifting melodies lead the dance floor into a hot, sexy, sultry vibe in a way that very few DJs can. During this ride you are sure to hear some of Max's own productions including his summer 2006 hit, Crank, released on industry giants, Deep Dish's, label Yooshi. Last year saw Max's much anticipated (and long overdue) Essential Mix on BBC's Radio 1 and the launch of his new label Re*brand Records. Named Re*brand as a tongue in cheek reference to the constant evolution of the dance music industry, the label will release tracks intended to re*energize your love for house music. Re*brand's most recent releases include Max's funked up remix of Common Grounds' To Be Given. and Patch Park's Zero Out. With maxgraham.com almost set to re*launch and new Re*brand releases in the pipeline, get ready to reach the next level in house music.

Wetbar may have something lined up that night. I've never been to the Masquerade, but it always looked like a little ty venue. I'll still see what I can do, maybe even get Max to sign my only vinyl of 'I Know You're Gone' :p
