you know i wouldn't care at all if this was a private venture, but since this horse crap would be paid for with my tax dollars.... it pisses me right off. beyond the fact that it wont accomplish a thing. Taking all the black kids who have behavioral issues and sticking them in a black school with black teachers and a black curriculum is not going to reduce the percentage of drop outs or the number of suspensions.
beyond this fact i think this horrible idea runs the risk of setting a precedent for other visible minorities and fringe groups to lobby the large wealthy public school boards for their own specialty schools based on bull statistics. |
