I've got my W2s, my interest statement from my mortgage company, and my interest statement from my student loans. i want to file my taxes.
but the goddamn freefile site from the IRS is down for maintenance:whip:
i'm totally doing taxes early this year. i want that refund now! |

| use turbotax. I think you can use the freeware version if all you're using is the 1040 EZ. |

yeah, i just finished with TurboTax's online efile thing. i did a form 1040 like last year to maximize my deductions.
GOT A $991 RETURN YEAH!
and e-filed....9days from now it'll be directly deposited, woot woot!
TurboTax was awesome. it was totally free [if you needed advice, it was $9.95, but i didn't it]. and let me do a lot of . credited for doing energy efficient adding on my house. let me do sales tax, and all that good , FOR FREE!
highly recommend it to everyone.
the efile thing i did w/ the IRS last year was just as easy, really, but they're down right now, so whatev.
so yeah, turbotax is your friend TA! |

If you use TurboTax through Northwest Financial, you can still file your return for free, but you also get the customer support for free too. You don't have to pay that $9.95 advice fee.

I've always used TurboTax which is really easy...
But..last January started a new job which pays a base salary with taxes taken out + monthly checks comprised of commissions and bonuses with no taxes taken out.
So what do I do about that? |

you will owe. sucks but thats the way it is. the best way to deal with that though would be to have an EXTRA amount taken out of your regular check each time to make up for the taxes you arent paying on the commission amounts. |
