I've heard a few good minimal-tech/tech-house tracks since last year when the genre was reaching it's peak in popularity. I really think that this track really goes nowhere. It's way too repetitive and the annoying kid's chorus doesn't help either. If I had to rate it overall while comparing it to other tracks from this genre, I'd give it a 4 out of 10. |

Techno is supposed to be repetitive. Makes me wonder what are the few good tracks you've heard from the genre.
I really like this from what I've heard in the samples. It should be totally huge this year. |

I got into it on TA last year from some of the Djs who are into the whole minimal techno/tech-house genre. Some tracks that really stood out.

James Zabiela – Perseverance (Original Mix)
John Digweed - Gridlock (Digweed & Muirs stripped down mix)

I listen to mostly psy and goa but I don't mind listening to a techy-minimal type set every now and then. |

I'm pretty certain there is no bassline to the original track. Its just a piano melody and the vocal.. The bassline is just from another tune in the mix. Notice how its different in the second video.
Decent track. not something you'd catch me playing but still alright to hear in a club. |

| Its a track..... Villalobos and luciano have been playing it since november. Im sure others have too they are just the only ones i have heard drop it. |

Loads of people really seem to find something in Villalobos that I just can't. I think this tune is solid, and like a fair bit of the tunes he plays - but in general find him to be a mediocre DJ at best, and as a producer he's worthless unless he's the one playing his tunes.
And his recent Fabric was ing awful. |
