My neighborhood (North Bergen, all the towns north of Jersey City in Hudson County) used to be very very very Cuban... Most of them left (1990s version of "white-flight") but the restaurants and business are still around, so there's a lot of little cafeterias and spots here.. Some of them are open all night long on Saturdays, not the best ones, but they all have Cuban sandwiches! haha... Next time Martin comes to town, we'll all spend an evening having dinner in my neck of the woods!!

that's crazy!
i just went on that tasteofcuba.com site and what a bitch. they don't really have the cuban food i crave the most & my goodness i am losing it.. I can't even remember wtf it's called in spanish
