When he was at Avalon he played a damn good set.
As for me, James Lavelle @ Avalon with James Holden had to be one of the worst sets I ever heard. It brought me physical pain to hear each and every one of his transitions.

Don't even get me started on the first time I saw Oakenfold. Let's just say that I've never been more disgusted at a DJ set as I was that night. Absolutely despicable.
- Sat on his ass the whole time, outside of the DJ booth behind some monitors
- Had his headphones on for about 30 seconds of his two hour set
- Barely touched anything on the mixer
- Let a record finish playing while sitting on his ass, then stood up, put on PPK - Resurrection, went BACK to sitting on his ass and talking to some guy, let the track play out. He let the record keep spinning after it was done for about 45 seconds before he got up and put on the next tune.
I figured I'd just go see him to say I'd see him. Never again did I pay to see him (aside from times he happened to be on the same bill at a festival).

I was there with josh that night.. it was ridiculous... I was so pissed at DG.
Then again he did go on in the patio around 4:00am to make up for the crap that happened, then he was aaaaiiiiigghhhhtt
