Hi guys, this is a new uplifting trance production ive just about finished with a melody bordering on the epic side (i think, hehe)...i included a vocal sample to it recently which really gave it that extra emotion...im hoping to send it some labels soon but not sure which ones..

This 160 Kbps sample starts with the breakdown and then onto the main melody...im just hopefully looking for some feedback & comments :)

:) vocal add is good. But you'll need much work with bass, because this will need something very phatt... Grt

I liked it a lot.

Cheers Linkmage, ive just improved the bass, added more low end and sidechained it a little, sounds better now :) - i agree it was a bit thin-sounding..also added more power in the pads

Hmm, the melody's not really my cup of tea to be honest but the production is good I think. It sounds nice and full with plenty of warmth. Good luck with it;)

listening on myspace....

really lovely emotion you got here mate. break really is epic and tearjerking. i can imagine you doing well in the film score field.

overall i miss a dancefloor arrangement in this one. the drive is there in the main sections and the uplifting vibe is faultless, but maybe arrange the track so the break works more to build the listener up ready for the drop of the kick.

i wanna hear a chilldown version of this mate

i cant help to feel that the melody progression is not logical, my ear cant really decide what emotion to feel, its kinda like making up a salad with tomatoes potato chips and orange ice cream... well you get the point, im afraid its not my cup of tea, but anyway i tried to listen in an objective way, and if you want to make a thing like i think you want (airbase and such i guess...), you need a more solid line of melody, a good progression of chords, go to a minor scale and than to the major in a rhythmic way (like every 4th bar do a minor progression), use chords of the same base scale, dont switch to an entirely alien scale, unless u want it to feel alien... your sound is very "polite" but on the good side, hope youll succeed..

Cheers Rich & Vortex - i see what you mean by the melody, but its a 32-bar one, so its pretty long for a conventional trance melody,so it wont appeal to all ears but thats how it just turned out when i was making it - i couldve shortened it i suppose, but im pretty happy with the track on the whole...thanks for the comments :)

This is a great track. Only thing i can say is that i wish there would have been a warm pad playing underneath those strings at the beggining but that is mainly just personal preference, and i just love warm sounding pads :D.
