AWESOME NIGHT

the drive there and back was totally worth it!

Luke you were awesome mate, excellent warm up for askew, it was the first time i have heard you in a club environment and i certainly wasnt dissapointed. you gave me a couple of special dance floor moments when you dropped chris lakes carry me away and that remix of above and beyond cant sleep:D

Ive never heard Askew dj before and i didnt know what to expect, he was a bit random actually, but it worked really well, and when he dropped the G+D remix of mindcircus......well, that was it, i was sold! and as for that trancy techy remix of david morales needin you :eyespop:

then paul van dyk came to the decks setting up his equipment and immeadiatly everyone rushed to the front....including me lol. and it wasnt as cramped as previous pvd gigs which came as a nice shock actually. he started with an awesome intro then into a random mashup of sander van doorn riff :D which got the club bouncing just a little :D, and it was typical "bangin" pvd from there. awesome tunes with some great hands in the air moments as well as some great creativity.

unfortunatly, since i decided it was best for me to drive back that night, i missed the last half of pvds set. but i still had one of the best nights i have had in a long time.

the drive back was horrific lol, sleet, snow, high winds and 110mph dont mix very well!, the result can be drifting round a sharp motorway corner for a couple hundred meters! :wtf:

The actual venue was fantastic, great dj box, nice sized dancefloor, elevated dance floor towards the rear which provided some excellent views. i didnt check out the other rooms, so i cant comment on them. the sound system was terrific, although i still cant get over the delay in sound between the dj booth monitors and the dance floor! the atmosphere was great and everyone was really friendly, and i loved it, definalty a top quality venue:D

Luke it was a pleasure to see you again mate, the trip was worth while just to catch up with you again. nice to meet your mates as well, dan is a cool lad.

i have a load of random pics, which ill try to get up soon, and i might even get my arse into gear and do a better review lol
Luke Terry

It was a mint night indeed. Was quality to see you again Matt! You are a crazy bugger for drivin back like!

PvD & Askew were awesome. Quality tunes all night. There was something funky with that beer at the start though, tasted like line cleaner... lovely lol

Can't wait to see the pics :)
