yeah, and how many records could i buy for the price of an 800 mk2? ;)

i just dont enjoy enough music to warrant that kind of expenditure (at the moment anyway).

but i might just start buying some psy for when i do get a CDJ :)

only the prettiest psy for me though :)

vibrasphere = psy? ha, im such a noob. i like "floating free" :)
Deeman
lol

It's all noob to me too man! I've only been listening to it for around 4 or 5 months but it's gets ya eventually :)

Don't get me wrong I love regular trance but it's nice to have a bit of diversity. There are so many different variations of psy it's unbelievable. You should be able to find something in there that you like but you just have to look hard to find it. :toothless

Hehe the other day I spent around 7 hours straight looking for tunes. I ended buying 24 but probably listened to about 300+

LOL :haha:

omg what thread so many cries about armin vs Tiesto :whip: , ive seen tiesto once in my early years when i first got into trance @ 2gether in 2004/2005, thats was very good set
:eyespop:  , anyway i honetly dobt i will b going to see tiesto when he tours next month :whip: only purely because he hasn't done much in trance in last few years, i lstened to his lastest album there is maybe 3 descent track on the cd if that ,

Ten Seconds Before Sunrise
Sweet Things
Dance4Life
and the bonus track

as far as who i would see , Armin 4 sure i'm diffenly going to Armin Only u can bet you life on that
:eyespop: :tongue3  :toocool: :toothless
Tranceilvania
How'bout some
Toires (for chill out kinde not fullon psy)
1200 micrograms ('money for nothing' remix is absolute classic)
Astrix
Atmos
Raja Ram
Duca
No need to mention Astral Projection (sik old school)
Kayseri (even older school)
Symphonix (Hernan Catteneo dropped their 'Music Prostitute' in afew sets recently. Fits well in any prog or trance set IMO)

Progressive Goa Trance series CD releases are gold mines for single tracks (not mixed).

www.psyshop is a good place to start digging.

:( there is no psy on vinyl?

It is time to gracefully embrace the digital file format or your talent and inspiration will slowly dry up coz vinyl is no longer a medium you can rely on on in this regard...
I learned and worked as a DJ when the only medium excepted was vinyl and I know what you are trying to maintain.
Beatport for instance gives you not only 320 mp3 files but also wav. as download option...
Even CDJ's will soon be shrapnel the way things go...
My advise - listen to the down tempo Psy tracks rather then getting put off by the full on stuff for now...
I can provide you with a list of tracks which will assist you rather then you having to scroll to hundreds of samples - can be taxing!

...you further can add:

Whirloop

Obviously you're not going to like everything but you need to be patient to find what you like.

Check out -

Artists:

Human Blue
Ace Ventura
Nasa
Symphonix
Nyquist
Antix
Ticon
Tegma
Fitalic

Labels:

Tribal Vision
Iboga
Blue Tunes
Zenon
Plusquam

Some great stuff in there man but you gotta spend some time reseaching the sound you're looking for. Once you get the bug it pretty exciting and very different from the trance genre. See how you go :)

Hey Deeman - pretty cool stuff there! Are you planning to give us a little treat on the Boat? I am hanging to hear local talent playing the sound of the future...
Otherwise, I will be going to one of your upcoming gigs for sure...
Teflon_Teapot
pkc check out www.psyshop.com they have lots of psy on vinyl

speaking of which some of the artists listed by other people ie. tegma and ticon have gone electro, stay away from any of their recent tunes but definitely check out the older stuff.

Awesome, thanks man. I'm playing the after party at La Di Da so if you're there be sure to say hi. While on the boat be sure to check out Chwen, his tunes are mental and he should rock it sideways!
