whats he gonna learn? how to be the king of cheese, only pertaining to a different genre. understand this, angello=vath=cox=tiesto.

Meh, without downloading and online file sharing, none of those small labels would get any recognition, no one would go out pay $15 for a vinyl and check to see if it's good. It would be a lot more convenient for me to download the song, listen to it, if I really like it I would go to Beatport and buy it. But if they're songs that have Territory Restrictions or are not released yet, then I will keep the pirated song I have.

The internet and online file sharing is basically a free promotional tool to get recognition for small labels or producers with no labels at all.

alrigh fine then. fans of house music are just especially hypocritical. your friends of top 40 probably arent on message boards or out in clubs declaring their love for a culture that they do nothing but take from.

Your comments in this thread unfairly generalize and criticize house music fans. What are you basing all of these accusations on?

I spend most of my disposable income on dance music related purchases. Your example of "fans wanting comps" is extremely stupid, because if I'm given a comp, sure I'll take it. Why would I refuse it? But I don't expect comps, nor none of the friends that I party with.

I disagree with all of this, but unfortunately you stopped making sense after the first comma.

But if in all that nonsense math and unnecessary use of the word "pertaining" you were attempting to say that Vath is cheesy then, I have no interest in arguing that point, you might find far more people who would disagree with you on that one.

I'm the same.
Everytime I go out I try to get on the guestlist to make the night that much cheaper. If it doesn't work out I'll still go. It's like anything else. If I'm looking for a new DVD or whatever.. I'll usually see what place has it cheapest.

i do agree with you. im sure there are plenty of folks who would argue with me because they are just as deluded as yourself and have no idea that sven vath is the tiesto of techno.
