Usually with an employer they get 2 shots from me with my pay. if they it up once thats understandable. If it ever happens again I tend to get fairly nasty if It happens a third time (if there is a 3rd time) Then i quit and find a new job. Documentation makes all the difference in the world though.

Just poop in a FedEx box and send it to him.

then go to lowermybills.com and lendingtree.com and put his personal name, phone number, and fake the rest of the info for a loan inquiry, so he gets 27 mortgage calls a day for a month.

They sell your info right, I remember that a co-worker went on lendingtree to refi, and couldn't get the loan officers to stop calling.:stongue: I personally love this idea, your boss will not know what to do with so many calls.

if there were going to be any discrepancy with my paycheck, I would expect my boss to be the one to approach me to give me that information as soon as they knew. if a paycheck just mysteriously failed to show I would ask about it the next day. dunno what kind of employers y'all are used to but that's just courtesy.

also, part of the reason for this is that your employer might not be aware of something wrong with their pay system (especially if you're a new employee), and if that's the case it lets them know what's wrong. Never assume that your employer knows everything.

I used to work for a company exactly like this.

The disturbing part is... if he doesn't have enough cash to pay you for your one week of work... you should be rather concerned about the business as a whole also.

We too were waiting for a check a few times... but the business owner sucked it up and payed us knowing cash was on the way.

I moved away, and I heard that my co-workers paychecks were bouncing then they went out of business.

Keep that resume up to date just in case.
