Back to the story...
I loaned out about $330 in gold (35% of oz.) so we could prevent the storage company from selling our stored furniture, and now I'm questioning whether I'm going to get my $330 back. To me, it's all preventable, unneeded BS. So naturally, I just want to get away from it right? |

That's what I think the condition of me moving out might have to be. 5 months of unemployment is a killer. And job searching isn't easier nowadays either. |

Your mother is a grown adult. I would assume her boyfriend is too. They shouldn't be relying on you to support them.
Now it would be nice of you to give them some notice before you leave, just so they can adjust their lifestyles to accommodate for you not being a contributing member to the family.
However, you shouldn't feel guilty or bad for moving out. |

| Oh, I wouldn't be moving for at least 2 or 3 months, maybe longer. But I'm friggin 20, it's about time I get my own place ay? |

Then what the ?
They shouldn't be upset at all. You're being more than reasonable with the amount of notice you're giving them. If they can't be happy for you, and proud that you are taking a step toward leading an adult life, they can piss off. |
