| the twins really dropped the ball with this one. they had so much more with the yankees offer of cabrera, hughes, and a third prospect. good for the mets, the only real cost was gomez. |

Guerra's gonna be the best player in the deal. Book that.
As for the Yankees offer... If I were the Twins, I would've traded Santana straight up for Hughes. To get Tabata and Cabrera on top of that? Crazy. I don't see how they couldn't have taken that deal right on the spot.
Oh well, I ain't complaining. |

As a Yankee fan, A) We didn't get raped and give up Hughes, Melky and Kennedy and B) he's not on Boston... so it's all good in the hood peeps.
Although... MEts fans will be intolerable this year... even moreso |
