Heh. Don't forget that this is all from 1993. It might not sound as eclectic now because we're more used to dance music being open-minded (it's had 15 more years to explore just about everything in), but if you compare house music at the end of the 80s (just before Leftfield released "Not Forgotten", the first prog house record) to this stuff from just 3 years later, you can see why it was called "progressive". |
