Funny stuff... but scary. This is precisely why I REFUSE to drink bottled water unless there are NO other options. (And even then I'd rather drink a soda!)

+1 for my brita pitcher.

I can't imagine how much bottled water North Americans drink... never mind how much bottles are thrown out because of it.

Dead serious... bottled water is INCREDIBLY wasteful, and just another shining example of how Americans are being duped into wasteful behavior by large companies who take us all for suckers. Yea... I need my water bussed in from Fiji... only took 4 gallons of gasoline to get to my doorstep... f#$@king convenient.

Whats next... am I going to have to start going out and buying batteries to provide my house with electricity?

Not hard people... buy a thermos and a water filter...

And for the record... Aquafina and Desani... not from any spring. Thats just plain old filtered water people. Thats right... they run tap water through a brita, put it in a bottle, and sell it to saps for $1.50 per 20oz.

Zephyrhills bottled here in Florida, have one about everyday.

OK... and what does it come in? Plastic? Thought so... How does it get to the store? Big rig? Thought so... These are all wastes of resources that are EASILY avoided.

You're thinking about it to much, it'll be someone else's problem in the future.
