Will check it out, brother. Your past mixes have impressed me, so I'm sure this won't be an exception.

Interested in these mixes as usual.

The first one is starting quite cool. I was a bit surprised by this sort of epic-trance-slowed-down melody in this track at 7-11 minutes but it's nice.

With some luck I'll come back to this thread and report when I've heard the whole thing. :p

First mix reminds me, I think, of the very first mix I heard of you 2 or 3 years ago here, very melodic specially at the start. This sort of mix has got quite a distinctive style. That part with Chica-Go and Hang Around annoyed me a bit, i do like the tracks, it's maybe because i've heard them too often. The three tracks after Hang Around are top class though. I'm not too keen on the vocals on the final one, but it makes perfect as a closer. Overall, good set, not amazing but enjoyable.

The second mix... DUDE! I wasn't expecting this, this is freaking awesome. Starts quite subtle with deep basslines. Then picks up the pace with Stocktown - I've heard a million times but haven't got tired of it yet, for some reason. Then that Sketches tune, have never heard of it before but it's a brilliant track, highlight of the set for me. The rest of the mix is quality - banging but with just the ideal amount of deep/soulful/melodic bits here and there. I liked how, to compensate, the closer was a massive in-your-face track for a change. This is just the new bunch of music I needed right now.

Sorry for only commenting on the tracks, I didn't notice anything in particular about the mixing which most likely means there's no noticeable flaws. Structuring everywhere seemed to make sense - even if the second one was "unplanned".

Recommended.

Nice one - thanks for taking the time to have a listen and write a wee bit about it.

Appreciated.

Both the tracklists look unreal - but the second one is just too good to pass up on, grabbing it now m8.

:)

"Cranky" FTW!
