Cool idea! Did you use sticky tape? What if the tape breaks?
Jah
i dont get it whats the advantage :/?
skywarp
It's rubber bands, not sticky tape.

This is only useful if you have your decks mounted close to big speakers (ie. club bassbins, several hundreds / thousands watt) - the rubber bands would dampen the vibrations and prevent turntable feedback and needle skipping.

I don't see a reason to set up your decks like that for a bedroom soundsystem.
Jah
ah ok i get it now

Mr Oakenfold will not play at Gatecrasher unless they put squash balls which are cut in half under the feet on the decks!!

And yeah there soundsystem is loud ;)

Hold on a second, rubber bands? Isn't that going to make the TTs even more bouncey?
migitymike
yes they bounce..but they dont shake.or vibrate..u can do this with thses tables floated../i have hard wood floors..i can jump on the floor make my whole set up shake..and when the tables are floated they shake..but they dotn jump..and make sure u use at least 8 rubber bands per tape roll..and thw width of each rubber band needs to be think..not the cheap little thin ones..the width is actually 64
