Wow!! Not my first choice but a very interesting add to the roster. Out in May. What do you guys think? I think Hernan Cattaneo needs a GU but he's already on Renaissance.

Unfortunately no one cares Darin ....however, big ups for Chicago. Finally we get some type of involvement with GU;)

No kidding.

Yeah, I've felt for some time that Cattaneo would be one of the finest additions to the GU line-up in many years, but I'm just glad to see the label having taken some steps forward in adding some much needed variety to their mix comps.

Adam Freeland, Layo & Bushwacka!, and now Felix Da Housecat- looks like they were listening to all those complaints.

I was wondering when they were finally going to visit Chicago (you would think they would have done this many editions ago).

I'm pretty sure they've finally wrapped up the Warren/Deep Dish routine. Deep Dish wound up getting plenty of airtime together, and the label went ahead and fostered their solo acts by giving each of them their own installments. With Warren being assigned with the '30' milestone, I suspect it should be fresh(er) faces from here on out.

Very odd choice, but I'm actually looking forward to hearing this :D

This would have been quite surprising five years ago, but Felix's star isn't quite what it used to be, especially since his last album wasn't, shall we say... "well received by many."

Still, it'll be intriguing to see what the tracklist looks like nonetheless.

Well, this is either a really good change of pace and Felix will blow us all away, or it was a terrible idea and GU needed Felix' mainstream crossover appeal to sell more albums. Only time will tell.

He'd better be wearing an AC MILAN shirt on the cover.
