I don't understand what FW is supposed to do? Start kicking people out? If it's cap it's cap.

haha awesome

Was the coatcheck line big when you got it? That can cause serious congestion (and danger lol) when it's busy like that. They might have been waiting for that to die down? Pure speculation but it happened at Rene Amesz too...

Kaskade has a very large following & it always shows when he comes to the city. He is the total opposite of Starkillers & Austin Leeds so I highly doubt people only went to see him because the show at TIL was cancelled.

no...why would you say that? Anyone I talked to in line or overheard was there for Kaskade. Anyone already inside wouldn't have had time to go to TIL, leave, and already be inside Footwork.

I say that because it's true. I'm not saying it's a large percentage or anything, but it was at least part of the crowd. The group of people that I was supposed to go to TIL with went to footwork instead because we all found out beforehand that the Starkillers/Austin Leeds show was cancelled at around 4 or 5pm. My plan was to go to Footwork as well until I eventually heard about The Gallery switching formats and decided I'd rather spent my money of one of the last decent saturdays @ Guv

true, but they were still letting people in...if you paid them.

I don't blame 'Footwork'. If they're full, they're full. But when the door staff allow what few spots are left, or do become available, to people who just walk up and pay them off, leaving others in line for more than an hour in cold weather, that's not cool.

that's just my vent...I'm sure management knows it goes on and doesn't at all care.

Max Graham tonight?

haha. but yes, it has been tarnished. I had nothing but good to say about the place from previous visits...but the door staff changed that opinion in a hurry.

sure, i'll go tonight...if I get in free, with line bypass, and 1-2 drink tickets to make up for last night's bull :p
