wow. first off...thnx to everyone who made it out last night and made it so successful.
The music was stupendous...and amazing.
I have some amazing vids of the night that will be posted ASAP!
Barry's set was an amazing appetizer before the main course...and Kris' was the perfect dessert...from what I heard.
As for Jon's set.... absolute brilliance. :D :D :D
Amazing guy as well.
Don't forget we have the same vibe happening every Saturday night |

haha For real.
At the start of the night I thought the laser weren't working/being used... so glad they came on for o'bir's set! Some of the best lasers in Toronto are at Rio! |

Damian was just a fling. I am over him because he is too short and has a mullet. Messinian doesn't count. I bet even YOU think he's hot! |

The lasers didn't seem that strong, and you could see that the streams fade the farther they get from the main console, unlike Guvernment's lasers. I remember them being brighter when I last went in 2005, but maybe I just didn't notice the different back then? I was wearing my glasses this time, which I didn't have last time haha, so that's one reason I probably noticed a big difference lol. I don't notice any difference in the lasers at Guv with my glasses though.
I'd imagine Guv would have a much more powerful and expensive laser system, but maybe I'm wrong?
They are still good, don't get me wrong, they just are not as bright and intense as Guvs, and because of this, far less sharp and a lot more fuzzy. |
