Always wondered why dudes get such a hard time at clubs here, not only can girls under 21 get in when dudes can't, but dudes are brushed aside to make way for girls and couples and only let in when the doormen feel like it? What year are we in again? Get a grip space! no white sneakers? I'll be sure to wear a pair of sensible gents and a nice smart pair of chino's the next time I visit the best club in the world:rolleyes: (as voted for my Space Laura at least) |

| Welcome to Miami. That's just the way it is. But it's like that at most club venues anyway, especially South Beach. People hate it when you go to a club/party and see 25 dudes standing around and only 5 chicks (4 of the 5 with a boyfriend at their side) Not very appealing. As club owner, you want as many girls as possible in your club. They attract the guys with $$$ to spend on the girls, etc. |

I'm kinda glad.
Miami just doesn't have as many choices as other citites for EDM Clubs. I hate going out to a party with bummy people. I think it's a good thing but bad for the single fellas!!
Though the solid black/white shirts is a bit ridiculous. Unless they are talking about ghetto Hanes shirt XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXL |

| those requirements aren't 'that' bad but i'm wondering what's the policy going to be for people who buy tickets during wmc and get there at a reasonable time. Will they(guys alone) be potentially screwed if they don't honor the ticket? |

| How do clubs get away with discriminating against a particular sex like this? I've seen similar policies at other clubs and always thought that they are just asking for a lawsuit. Am I missing something? |

Thats not bad at all…As much as I love being comfortable, A club needs to maintain
its image. I was at Mansion on Saturday and everyone was nicely dressed, No hip-hop
thugs starting fights. It was a nice venue with nicely dressed people. Space quality
has gone down tremendously. I remember the days that guys use to wear black slacks and
the famous electric blue shirts rolled up 3/4 with black shoes and silver chains lol....
That was the Miami look, But those days are over. Just dress respectfully. |

| i personally don't think much has changed from before... granted i'm 22 so i've only been going to space for a couple years now. but this isn't a NEW thing imo. and as kaenow mentioned... i'd rather have the crowd a bit less thuggish, but by enforcing a dress code even more i don't think it's going to fix anything. |

I'm just glad because space was one way along time ago when the entire club was 1 main room and the small side room.
Since it beacme 2 floors to make 1 - a hip hop room... Space kinda went down the ter.
This is more for that crowd anyways. I don't think the trance/house heads need a lesson in dress code |

It's about time they have a code.
As for the WMC, I am going to say that this will not be in effect unless they post that code on their website. |

That is True, European club wear is completely different than U.S. club nights |

| Hell yeah they need this. I've seen some pretty shoddy clothing being worn there and it just makes the club unappealing, but they do have to balance it out enough not to totally piss off their main patrons. |

Space (the old space) used to have a huge sign above the door with basically these same requirements and also had no jeans...
it was almost nothing less than a button down long sleeved shirt with dress pants was acceptable... |
