What are you guys doing for Valentine's Day?

Yeah, normally I don't believe in the commercial hype related to this artificial day, but I was thinking about doing something special this time around.
Flowers are so cliche and so marked up...chocolates...meh, I don't want her to get fat LOL and jewelry seems excessive, so what ideas do my fellow TOTAs have? |

| This only answers the thread title, but I'm going to a club on Valentine's Day. It is one of the best days of the year to go out, haha. ;) |

| I'm doing nothing on the actual day (might get my hair done, now that I think about it) - but on Sat the 16th, the BF and I are flying to Montreal for 2 nights and staying at this beautiful hotel in old montreal. On the Saturday night we'll probably go somewhere swanky for dinner followed by a trip to the casino, then skating on Sunday and dinner at a friend's Sunday night. Can't wait. |

I'm not sure yet.
On the actual day? Prolly nothing. Give her a phone call, but thats nothing out of the usual.
When I see her the following weekend, I'll prolly have some cute-sie gift for her, I dunno, like an adorable La Senza bear or something.
I dont like doing flowers or chocolate. Both seem ingenuine to me for some reason, like its just "not me". |

GF coming over and we'll go out for dinner.
Then were going to the US for 2 days to get away and do some shopping!
(I had to re-arranged the trip so I could be back for the Family day party lol...but it actually worked out better) |
